Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Band 5 Staff Nurse with a valid NMC pin and a passion for palliative care to join our clients dedicated team at. As a Staff Nurse in our hospice, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional end-of-life care and support to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:

Palliative Care: Deliver high-quality palliative care to patients with complex needs, ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being is prioritized.

Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients, develop care plans, and regularly review and adapt them to meet changing needs.

Medication Management: Administer medications, including controlled drugs, in accordance with hospice policies and procedures.

Symptom Management: Effectively manage pain and symptoms, providing comfort and relief to patients as required.

Family Support: Offer emotional support and education to patients' families, assisting them in understanding the care process and helping them cope with grief and loss.

Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, social workers, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to all relevant healthcare regulations and hospice guidelines.
Requirements:
- Valid NMC Pin.
- Prior experience in palliative care is essential.
