Job Title: A&E Nurse
Location: Newtonbreda, Northern Ireland
Pay Rate: £31 - £40 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Provide urgent and emergency nursing care to patients in the Accident and Emergency (A&E) department.
- Assess and triage patients, prioritizing care based on their condition.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as required.
- Monitor and record vital signs, response to treatments, and overall patient progress.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations, providing immediate interventions and resuscitation if necessary.
- Communicate with patients and their families, providing education and emotional support.
- Document all patient interactions, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Stay updated with advancements in emergency nursing practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse qualification with valid NMC registration.
- Experience working in an Accident and Emergency (A&E) department.
- Strong assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and efficient emergency care.
