We are currently recruiting for Young people support workers in Hampshire to provide care and support to young people who are going through hard times.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that young people receive both opportunity and advocacy and that they can develop their skills and talents in a manner that empowers them to go on and access employment and/or educational facilities, whilst continuing to take on more responsibilities and to ultimately achieve and maintain independence.

Requirements:

  • Applicants should have experience of working with young people and should demonstrate both empathy and knowledge of the issues which often result in adversity.
  • Have a passion for supporting young people.
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Be able to develop and maintain good relationships with young people.
  • Have great communication skills.
  • Be able to write up report plans.
