Before each assignment, you will be given the following information.

Nursing Agency Job/Assigmnment Information

Please ensure you make a note of this, to ensure you have a full understanding:

  1. The name of the client organisation 
  2. The location and address of the client organisation
  3. Details of the role
  4. The pay rate
  5. Details of the hours of work, start and finish times, breaks
  6. The dress code

 

For longer assignments you will be made aware of your:

  1. Notice period
  2. Holiday entitlement 

 

If in doubt, call your recruitment consultant. We recommend planning your route ahead of your assignment to ensure that you arrive in plenty of time. Arrive 15 minutes before your shift starts in order to settle in and find your way around, and introduce yourself to the manager or Nurse in Charge.

 

What to do if you are running late for an agency nurse job or assignment

  1. Contact your consultant immediately 
  2. Give time frames of how late you expect to be
  3. Allow the consultant to inform the client on your behalf

 

What to do if you need to cancel an agency nurse job or assingment

  1. Please give as much notice as possible
  2. Notify your consultant by phone call, as texts or emails may not be read in time
  3. Advise your consultant in plenty of time if you feel unwell ahead of your shift
